Our Mission Team of 21 members were blessed to be able to go to Long Beach, Mississippi from July 5-11, 2009. We were sponsored by the First Baptist Church of Long Beach and we worked on a house in Bay St. Louis. The house will be used to house volunteers and workers who will be coming to the area in the future to help residents of the Gulf Coast area. We worked hard in the hot, humid weather! We had lots of wonderful fellowship and laughs! The food was plentiful and delicious (thanks to our 'home team ladies' who cooked, cleaned and washed laundry for us). The blessings were too numerous to count!

This steeple was on the original church building which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
It survived the destruction and was moved to the new church campus!

Whale Sculpture
A local sculptor turns trees, left destroyed by Katrina, into awesome art pieces! They are found all along the Gulf Coast highway and in this park in Pass Christian. They depict sealife found in and near the beaches and waters.
